The theatre is at Baara Land in Sài Sơn commune, Quốc Oai district, on the western fringe of greater Hanoi — beside Thầy Pagoda and Thầy Mountain. In clear conditions it's around an hour from the Old Quarter, but Hanoi traffic is the variable that matters, and the last stretch is suburban and semi-rural rather than motorway. Think of it as a proper trip out of town, closer in spirit to a half-day excursion's return leg than a hop across the city.
The transfer option
